Creation Conditions
De jure territory of Germany
A ruler requires two duchy titles, plus at least 51% (11) of the 21 de jure counties to create Germany. In addition, a significant amount of gold and piety is required to create Germany.
Creating Germany grants the creator 400 prestige.
Unique Mechanics
East Francia (requires The Old Gods DLC) - Germany was born out of the Carolingian Empire, an empire created c. 800 by Charlemagne a.k.a Charles the Great, King of the Franks. If a member of Charlemagne's dynasty, the Karlings, holds Germany it becomes known as East Francia.
