Germany is a de jure kingdom consisting of 6 duchy titles and 21 county titles. The title does not exist by default in the timeframe of Crusader Kings II, but can be created by the player or the AI. The title exists in the timeframe of The Old Gods DLC.

Creation ConditionsEditA ruler requires two duchy titles, plus at least 51% (11) of the 21 de jure counties to create Germany. In addition, a significant amount of gold and piety is required to create Germany.
Creating Germany grants the creator 400 prestige.
East Francia (requires The Old Gods DLC) - Germany was born out of the Carolingian Empire, an empire created c. 800 by Charlemagne a.k.a Charles the Great, King of the Franks. If a member of Charlemagne's dynasty, the Karlings, holds Germany it becomes known as East Francia.
